Easter 2009

Easter was so fun with McCall this year. Of course she was very spoiled. She got a new swimsuit, lots of beach toys, cloths, games, a kite and candy of course. I think she was was wondering what was going on when she woke up to 3 baskets full of stuff all for her. We did a small easter egg hunt at the house then went to Tate and Brookes for another hunt and BBQ. Then out to Grandma Tana and Grandpa Zack's for another hunt. McCall did very well finding all the eggs and after she learned most of them were filled with candy she would make us open each one so she could find out what was inside. She looked so cute in her little Easter Dress.

All snuggled up with Uncle Patrick and Marshall after a long fun-filled day.

Winter Fun

Winter was crazy busy so I just have not had time to post anything- well ok, maybe I'm just a slacker. Anyway, we had a good Winter. McCall is getting so big, we have just been enjoying watching her learn all kinds of new things. She is 18 months now but most of these pictures are from when she was 15-16 months. The highlight of the winter was taking McCall skiing for the first time. She was a little freaked out on the chair lift but did great once she was on the slopes. We think she is a natural. I have a video but am having a hard time uploading so I will try later. Well enjoy and I am going to try to post more stuff shortly.

McCall Learns to Walk- she took her very first steps November 27th and then really started walking December 7th. She is now almost running and starting to climb onto everything.

Ok, so I am way late putting Christmas Photos up but what do I say its been a crazy January. Christmas was wonderful though. We got to spend a lot of time with the family which is always the best part. Troy was off the whole week following Christmas which was so nice. We mostly just hung out and relaxed. We did get up to the slopes one day which doesn't happen often enough now days.

Christmas Tree shopping. This was a few days before McCall started walking on her own.

This year between the siblings in my family we decided instead of exchanging gifts we would get together and go to a really nice dinner. We went to Flemmings in SLC. Food was great and it was so much more memorable to spend time together. We are all fans of good food so it was really the perfect gift for us. Below is just a couple of us out that night. Pictures are of Troy and I, Bron and Denise, and Patrick and Heather.

Zoo Lights- the Hogal Zoo decorates the whole park with lights. We took all the kids down just before Christmas. It was really cold but a fun time.

McCall's first time playing in the snow. She could hardly move but she looked so cute in her new snowsuit and boots.

My little elf. She was helping Mommy put up Christmas decorations.

McCall's play house that Santa brought.

McCall's new Rocking Horse. She loves it and wants us to rock her on it everyday.

All tuckered out after a long Christmas Day.

New Pic's

I have added some of our new pictures we got last month as promised. I have added some of McCall to this post as well as in a slide show to the right and then a couple of the family (up top and to the right as well). We wanted to get some with the autumn leaves. They turned out beautiful. This was our first try at family photos, and we realized it isn't the easiest to keep a 1 year old happy while we snap photos for an hour. She did pretty good though and we got some good ones.

So, the holiday season has officially began for us. Troy's family did an early Thanksgiving dinner last Sunday evening, turned out great. We will be going to my Dad and Lila's house with everyone tomorrow. We plan on just relaxing this weekend (no we are not black Friday shoppers unless it is online). Honestly I would rather pay the extra that face the crowds that are out there that day.

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!
