Here is some fun random photos from this summer I found of McCall. We don't have to many because our camera's have been on the fritz since we got back from Lake Powell. Most of these have been taken on other people's cameras. McCall is getting so big as you can see. I can't believe that she is almost 2 years old. She has such a great personality! She makes us smile everyday. We are so blessed to have her. She of course is very mobile- running everywhere (she can even walk up and down the stairs with little assistance if not none when she is being daring), and she climbs on everything. She loves to share which is a plus and she is a great eater. She always wants to try whatever we are eating. Sometimes she likes it and sometimes not but she always at least gives it a try. She has also started saying so many words and is even making about 3 word sentences, a common one is "I like it". We have started potty training recently and although she has not caught on completely we are working on it and she seems eager to try something new. Enjoy!

Trying on my favorite Red Hat

Beautiful picture of McCall compliments of my friend Amber who took it.

Amber's daughter Tayla having a snack after having a swim date. The girls are just 4 days different in age so it has been fun to see them grow up together.

I just love this natural pose

Cabin Trip

Here are a few pic's from one of our cabin trips earlier this year. It was so cold and rainy so we stayed in most of the time but we did get out one of the days for a few hours to go on a four wheeler ride. McCall really loves the outdoors, even though you could tell she was freezing she wanted to be outside playing. It is so great to have the cabin to go to and really let the kids experience the outdoors. Soon enough she will be ready to go out hunting with Daddy!!

Lake Powell June 2008- We had so much fun. Troy and I missed the first few days while we were at Tawna and Charlies wedding but had a blast once we got there. We sent McCall down with the family (Thank you to everyone for all of your help with baby girl!) Anyway, I felt so bad because McCall decided to cut her first molar while they were there so she was not feeling well most of the trip. We still had a lot of fun though swimming, jet skiing, kayaking, wake boarding, etc. We had our Annual Talent show. Each year the kids plan some skits, songs, dances etc. This year since we were down there on Father's day we decided to do it that night. Then everyone else pitches in and does any kind of talent they have. I even did some belly dancing. We had a great group of people there this year and can not wait until next year to go down again.

Tawna and Charlie's Wedding

We went to Boise for Tawna and Charlie's wedding in late June. It was so beautiful and we had so much fun. We were so excited for them to finally tie the knot. We got up there Friday and met Tawna at this gorgeous salon to have pedicures. The only pic I have is just below and it doesn't really show but in front of where we were all sitting there were floor to ceiling windows that looked out to the river, what a beautiful view. Then that night we went to the rehearsal dinner at Tawna's parents. They live way out in the country and we got totally lost not once, not twice but more like 4 or 5 times. We even got pulled over for a U-Turn out in the middle of nowhere. The cop gave us directions and we still got lost after that. Anyway we finally made it and had an amazing dinner then a storm rolled in with high winds (we were so nervous because the wedding was going to be there outside the next day). Anyway, that night we just hung out there with all the friends and family and had a great time.

The next day was the wedding which ended up turning out to be beautiful weather. The food was fabulous, there was a DJ and dancing, more good food, drinks and friends (what more could you ask for). It was truly one of the funnest weddings I have been to. Troy and I had to get up the next morning at 4am to get to the airport to get to Lake Powell. We took a flight from Boise to Phoenix then a VERY small plane from Phoenix into Page, AZ. I thought I would have died it was so bumpy on that flight and I wasn't even sitting next to Troy because some girls took our seats and wouldn't move. Luckily we landed 20 min early, I don't think I would have made it any longer. Then I had to get in a car which already being sick was the last thing I wanted, then to make it worse had to get onto a boat for like another 30 min. Oh well it was so worth it to get there and see our baby girl who we had not seen in like 5 day. Anyway, here are some pic's from the wedding- Lake Powell Pic's to come.

Saturday I took McCall to the Tree House Museum. I had not been there since I was a kid and it was at the Ogden Mall (yes a long time ago). It was so fun. I wasn't sure if McCall would really get into playing there or if she would want me to carry her around since she kind of is a mama's girl sometimes, but she had a blast. I forgot the camera so these are from my phone (not the best but still cute).

Then on Sunday we went on a hike up Adams Canyon. It was gorgeous. We got this Kid's Backpack carrier for Christmas and I know it is going to get a lot of use. McCall loves being outside so this is perfect (we get exercise and she has fun)

Enjoying the nice weather

Last weekend soon after McCall woke up she kept point outside and saying "side, side"- which means outside. She even went and got her hat, shoes and glasses and handed them to us. How can you resist that. We went out at like 7:30 I think and played on the swing set all morning. I just love how big she is getting and how happy it makes her to be outside. She loves to swing on the big swing by herself and can almost climb all the way to the top of the slide by herself.
McCall and Troy went to Valley Nursery last weekend and got me a whole bunch of flowers for Mother's Day. Then planted them all in pots for the patio. McCall was such a big help- she loves to dig with a shovel, it's so cute.

I need to take a picture of how pretty they all turned out and how great Troy has the yard looking. We had such a nice Mother's day, we are so lucky to have so many beautiful women in our life's. I love celebrating Mother's Day with all our Mom's, Grandma's and sister-in-laws (even the ones without kids I always say they can celebrate too since they are Mom's when Mom's aren't around.) Troy and McCall made me the cutest card to go with all my beautiful flowers. I am so thankful to be a Mom and Wife to the most caring husband and adorable little girl. I couldn't ask for a better family.

Troy's trip to Cabo

Troy went to Los Cabos Mexico the first part of May with my Dad and 2 brothers on a fishing trip (no they did not come back with the Swine Flu). Anyway, they had a great time fishing and relaxing. They said that it was pretty empty down there since all the tourists have canceled trips and the cruise boats are not stopping there. Everyone thought they were crazy for going but there had not been any outbreaks of the flu in Baja Mexico and all the articles we read said it was safter there than in L.A. You will see in some photos below Troy and my Dad both caught squid (very ugly). They brought these to a local resturant that cooked them up for them. They said it was excellent. They caught I belive 14 Tuna the one day. They had them freezer packed and frozen there and brought them back, Yummy! So anyway, they had a great time. Here are a few pic's of their trip.
