Saturday I took McCall to the Tree House Museum. I had not been there since I was a kid and it was at the Ogden Mall (yes a long time ago). It was so fun. I wasn't sure if McCall would really get into playing there or if she would want me to carry her around since she kind of is a mama's girl sometimes, but she had a blast. I forgot the camera so these are from my phone (not the best but still cute).

Then on Sunday we went on a hike up Adams Canyon. It was gorgeous. We got this Kid's Backpack carrier for Christmas and I know it is going to get a lot of use. McCall loves being outside so this is perfect (we get exercise and she has fun)

Enjoying the nice weather

Last weekend soon after McCall woke up she kept point outside and saying "side, side"- which means outside. She even went and got her hat, shoes and glasses and handed them to us. How can you resist that. We went out at like 7:30 I think and played on the swing set all morning. I just love how big she is getting and how happy it makes her to be outside. She loves to swing on the big swing by herself and can almost climb all the way to the top of the slide by herself.
McCall and Troy went to Valley Nursery last weekend and got me a whole bunch of flowers for Mother's Day. Then planted them all in pots for the patio. McCall was such a big help- she loves to dig with a shovel, it's so cute.

I need to take a picture of how pretty they all turned out and how great Troy has the yard looking. We had such a nice Mother's day, we are so lucky to have so many beautiful women in our life's. I love celebrating Mother's Day with all our Mom's, Grandma's and sister-in-laws (even the ones without kids I always say they can celebrate too since they are Mom's when Mom's aren't around.) Troy and McCall made me the cutest card to go with all my beautiful flowers. I am so thankful to be a Mom and Wife to the most caring husband and adorable little girl. I couldn't ask for a better family.

Troy's trip to Cabo

Troy went to Los Cabos Mexico the first part of May with my Dad and 2 brothers on a fishing trip (no they did not come back with the Swine Flu). Anyway, they had a great time fishing and relaxing. They said that it was pretty empty down there since all the tourists have canceled trips and the cruise boats are not stopping there. Everyone thought they were crazy for going but there had not been any outbreaks of the flu in Baja Mexico and all the articles we read said it was safter there than in L.A. You will see in some photos below Troy and my Dad both caught squid (very ugly). They brought these to a local resturant that cooked them up for them. They said it was excellent. They caught I belive 14 Tuna the one day. They had them freezer packed and frozen there and brought them back, Yummy! So anyway, they had a great time. Here are a few pic's of their trip.

Easter 2009

Easter was so fun with McCall this year. Of course she was very spoiled. She got a new swimsuit, lots of beach toys, cloths, games, a kite and candy of course. I think she was was wondering what was going on when she woke up to 3 baskets full of stuff all for her. We did a small easter egg hunt at the house then went to Tate and Brookes for another hunt and BBQ. Then out to Grandma Tana and Grandpa Zack's for another hunt. McCall did very well finding all the eggs and after she learned most of them were filled with candy she would make us open each one so she could find out what was inside. She looked so cute in her little Easter Dress.

All snuggled up with Uncle Patrick and Marshall after a long fun-filled day.

Winter Fun

Winter was crazy busy so I just have not had time to post anything- well ok, maybe I'm just a slacker. Anyway, we had a good Winter. McCall is getting so big, we have just been enjoying watching her learn all kinds of new things. She is 18 months now but most of these pictures are from when she was 15-16 months. The highlight of the winter was taking McCall skiing for the first time. She was a little freaked out on the chair lift but did great once she was on the slopes. We think she is a natural. I have a video but am having a hard time uploading so I will try later. Well enjoy and I am going to try to post more stuff shortly.
